What do you love most about your role?

Every morning I look forward to coming into work. The team, Manager and Deputy are all very friendly, helpful and easy to approach.

What are the key tasks and responsibilities for your role?

I support the Nurses by providing clinical support, such as assisting with administering medication. I also help residents with grooming, hygiene and more to make sure the residents are very well looked after.

Have you received any learning and development opportunities since joining Four Seasons Health Care Group?

This is what I love about the Group as I have received lot of training. We are always up to date with our training and e-learning to ensure we are efficient and have the skills and knowledge to do our jobs. I am also a Dementia Champion, which involved completing a dementia programme.

Describe working here in one word.

Family! That is the first thing that I think of because this is my second home and I treat the team and residents like my family.

How would you describe the culture?

Caring and respectful. The team are respectful to each other, which is the most important thing in a work environment. We’re also very caring to our residents.

Do you have any advice for those considering a career in care?

For those who are consider a job in a care home, I think the most important thing is to always give your heart to the job.
